Routine Orders

9. (1) An Institutional head may, under the authority of the Commissioner, issue Routine Order as required, to provide information and give direction to all officer under his jurisdiction.
    (2) Routine Order shall be in such form as the Commissioner may prescribe.
    (3) In the absence of the institutional head Routine Orders shall be issued by the officer who is temporarily in charge of the institution.
    (4) Routine Orders shall indicate the officer by whom they have been issued.
    (5) A member shall normally be notified in Routine Orders of all duties other than ordinary routine duties.
    (6) Routine Order shall be numbered consecutively, commencing with the first day of January of each year.
    (7) Copies of Routine Orders shall be
 (a)
posted in suitable places in the institution so that they may be available for Inspection by members, and
 (b)
sent to the Commissioner’s office and to regional headquarters.
