Review Upon Request

19. (1) A claimant who is dissatisfied with the amount of a payment to him or who has been refused compensation or whose payments have been discontinued may, in writing, request the Minister to review the circumstances relating to the amount, refusal or discontinuance of the payments, and the Minister shall, within a reasonable time after the receipt of a request, make the necessary review and advise the claimant in writing of his decision and his reasons therefore.
    (2) The Minister may, in writing, request advice from the Commission in order to assist him in making his decision under subsection (1).
