This Act was repealed and replaced November 1, 1992 (51/92-197) by the Corrections and Conditional Release Act. The Penitentiary Act remains in the service for reference purposes.

    Note -This Act has been consolidated and revised by RSC 1985 cP-5 effective December 12, 1988. It is printed as amended by RSC 1985 c27 (1st Supp) s203, effective December 12, 1988; c24 (2nd Supp) s48 and c34 (2nd Supp) s10, 11 and c35 (2nd Supp) s15-28, effective December 12, 1988.
