PENITENTIARY SERVICE

    Note -The Consolidated Regulations of Canada, 1978, include the regulations published in the 1955 Consolidation, as well as the regulations published in Part II of the Canada Gazette since that Consolidation, and were in force on December 31,1977, the closing date for the work.
    The 1978 Consolidation was released on December 31, 1978.

REGULATIONS APPLYING THE PUBLIC SERVICE
EMPLOYMENT ACT TO OFFICERS OF THE
CANADIAN PENITENTIARY SERVICE
   Short Title

1. These Regulations may be cited as the Application to Canadian Penitentiary Service Regulations.

Application of Act

2. Notwithstanding Part II of the Corrections and Conditional Release Act, the provisions of the Public Service Employment Act apply to all officers of the Canadian Penitentiary Service including those known as Deputy Commissioner, Directors of Divisions, Regional Directors and all other officers and employees of the Canadian Penitentiary Service except the Commissioner of Penitentiaries.
