REVOCATION OF PAROLE
BEFORE RELEASE


36. (1) Revocation of Parole Before Release - Where parole has been granted but the inmate has not yet been released from custody on parole, the Board may revoke its grant of parole if,
 (a)
it obtains new information that is relevant to its decision to grant parole; or
 (b)
the inmate requests that the grant be revoked.
    (2) New Hearing - Where the Board has revoked a grant of parole under clause (1) (a), the Board shall hold a new hearing to determine whether to grant parole or not, unless the inmate waives his or her right to the hearing. Powers
    (3) Powers - After the hearing under subsection (2), the Board may,
 (a)
grant parole upon the conditions that it considers appropriate; or
 (b)
deny parole.
