(1) Medical Treatment - Where an inmate requires medical treatment that cannot be supplied at the correctional institution, the superintendent shall arrange for the inmate to be conveyed to a hospital or other health facility. |
| (2)
Psychiatric Treatment - Where an inmate requires hospitalization
in a psychiatric facility under the Mental Health Act, the superintendent
shall arrange for the inmate to be conveyed to a psychiatric facility.

| (3)
Mental Examination - The superintendent may direct that an examination be made of an inmate by a psychiatrist or psychologist for the purpose of assessing the emotional and mental condition of the inmate.
