a medical officer or an officer with medical training visits the inmate at least once during each 24 hour period of confinement, and | |

(b)

the medical officer, or an officer with medical training in consultation with a medical officer, shall forthwith advise the director of the mental or physical condition of an inmate where such a condition makes continued confinement in the segregation cell inappropriate. | |
