| 14.
(1) The minister may direct or authorize the employment or attendance of an inmate or young person for any specific work, duty or purpose beyond the limits of a correctional centre or youth custody centre.

| (2)
The degree of supervision of an inmate or young person to whom subsection (1) applies must be determined by the person in charge of the correctional centre or youth custody centre in consultation with the minister.

| (3)
During his or her employment or attendance under subsection (1), an inmate is subject to the rules, regulations and discipline of the correctional centres, so far as applicable, and must obey all instructions given to him or her by the person in charge of the correctional centre. |
| (4)
During his or her employment or attendance under subsection (1), a young person is subject to the rules, regulations and discipline of the youth custody centre, so far as applicable, and must obey all instructions given to him or her by the person in charge of the youth custody centre.
