| (2) Once an inmate has been admitted to a correctional centre an officer shall only conduct such further searches where | ||

(a)

the director so authorizes, or | |

(b)
|
an officer has reasonable and probable grounds to believe that the inmate is in possession of any contraband, in which case the officer shall search the inmate and provide a written report to the director within 12 hours. | |
